ORGANISATIONS AND CORPORATES

We connect you with diverse young talent.

Our teams of young people create engaging and authentic media content that introduce your organisation to other young people like them.

  1. How we create meaningful content

We Rise delivers 21st century work experience and career inspiration programmes that improve confidence, connections and employability of disadvantaged 13-21 year olds in Lambeth.  We coach young people and connect them with employers so they can explore the world of work and discover their own future potential. We create life-changing experiences through work experience projects where young people collaborate with professionals to create quality media products. We connect employers to diverse young talent by creating youth made apprenticeship promo films which are shown in schools across South London.

2. Projections

Expected reach of a video

The film will be distributed via Lambeth’s Careers Cluster of 17 local secondary schools to a potential audience of 13,000 young people aged 11-18. Our team members will personally present the film at their school Assembly.

In addition it will be shared on social media with young people and careers advisers, distributed through We Rise’s community newsletter to 1600 and through the Lambeth Made campaign to an additional 1600.

Cost to produce

Each film costs us £10,000 to produce. We put  a lot of effort into recruiting the right team of young people and ensuring that they are motivated, will be a good fit for your company and will benefit from this opportunity.

The project is led by an experienced Producer/Director with a track record of high quality films. They are supported by a Coach whose job is to engage, teach and motivate the young team. We bring in a specialist Director of Photography for the shoot day on Wednesday and we employ a skilled editor to help the young people realise their objectives for the film.

3. Filming Process

We provide lunch and travel costs for the team and we create a bespoke marketing plan to ensure that the final film is communicated effectively to thousands of young people in South London.

Our approach enables young people to get under the skin of the opportunities you have on offer and bring your current Apprentices to life on screen in the most compelling and engaging way to communicate to their peers.

We measure the impact of the project on the employability skills of the young people we work with and we share an impact report  with you for your Corporate Social Responsibility reporting.

Our aim is to help you reach the right young people and recruit from a diverse pool of talent. We know we have the talent in our community but we want to demonstrate that this approach works so we are offering a 50% discount to our first five clients.

Duration, location, disruption

We plan, set up, shoot and edit the film in five days, Monday to Friday, working from our base in Brixton. Shoot day is on Wednesday. We can film at a site in London or anywhere in the South East.

What we need from you:

  • A brief for the film - what you want to achieve and when you want it

  • Name, contact  and location of the people you want to appear in the film

  • A contact point who can arrange access to your location to film

  • For filming we need access to an area with no noise.

  • Your feedback on the edited film on Thursday evening.

  • Your attendance at the final presentation on Friday - at your office or in Brixton.
