Take part in a 1 hour confidential interview about the experiences you have faced towards employment, education or training and get paid £40
Are you:
16-24 years old?
Live in London?
Not currently in education, employment or training or until recently were not in education, employment or training?
We are looking for 20 young people who meet the above criteria and particularly those who may have experienced one or more of the following:
- Have health conditions including mental health and physical health conditions
- Are in care or who have experienced the care system
- Are care givers for other family members
- Have experienced the criminal justice system
- Have experience of youth violence
- Have experienced housing issues
What will you do and how much will you get paid:
Opportunity 1:
Do you want to earn £40 by taking part in a confidential 1 hour long interview to share:
– your experiences of the difficulties you have faced to employment and training
– what barriers did you come up against?
– what support have you been offered?
– what, if anything or anyone has helped?
– is there anything that you think would have helped you more?
By sharing your experiences you can help to influence the support available to other young people in your position.
Opportunity 2:
In addition to taking part in the interview we are looking for 4 young people who meet the above criteria to join us for 3 short paid fun and interactive workshops where you will build work ready skills while helping to plan the interviews and help shape the recommendations we make based on the information we gather from them. The workshops will offer high quality work experience opportunities.
The 3 workshop dates are:
Thursday 22nd May, in Brixton (from 1pm – 5pm)

Tuesday 24th June, location tbc (4 hours)
Wednesday 25th June, location tbc (4 hours)
Total payment for taking part in the 3 workshops is £225.
Payments:
Payments will be made in cash or bank transfer or as a voucher, whichever suits you best.

Timings:
All interviews will take place over the weeks of 2nd June to 13th June 2025 at a time and location that suits you, including online.
Your information will be anonymised, all of your personal data will be kept confidential and not shared with any other organisations.
