CASE STUDY: RESEARCH PROJECT – Young researchers give fantastic presentation to the Board of Brixton Business Improvement District

It had been a long meeting but members of the Board of the Brixton Business Improvement District were paying full attention when our lead researchers, Laniyah, Sam and Saphire got up to present the results of the Business Security Survey.

This team of amazing young people followed presentations from Lambeth Council, the Cross River Partnership and Code 7. Despite the fact they are still at school they fully held their own.

IPSOS MORI worked with our young researchers Laniyah, Saphire, Sam, Mark, Louise, Malik and Nadeem to design research with local businesses. The team worked really hard on the fieldwork and then spent a day at IPSOS’s offices in St Katherine’s Wharf with Samira Brophy to analyse the results.

At the end of the week they shared the results with Michael and members of the BID team. Later we got this message from him:

“I am still excited from the presentation this afternoon from the students on the We Rise project. They presented their findings clarity, confidence and an ease with their material usually seen with well experienced researchers.”

He was so impressed by the quality of the work he has invited them to present to the BID Board meeting on 15th October.

They were so polished, so poised and so professional.

We are incredibly proud of them!
